Local rules

On the holes 1 and 18 the player must wait to teeoff until the road is clear of traffic.
All distance markers on the course is to middle of green.

White stake: Out of bounds
Red/Yellow stake/plate: Penalty Area
Red marking with green top: Penalty Area / No access/play
Blue marking: Ground under repair
Blue marking with black top: Ground under repair / No Play Zone

 

1) Road/Paths
All roads and paths on the course, even if not artificially-surfaced, are treated as immovable obstructions from which free relief is allowed under Rule 16.1. (F17)

2) Trees with support-stakes. 

If a player’s ball lies anywhere on the course other than in a penalty area and it lies on or touches such a tree or such a tree interferes with the player’s stance or area of intended swing, the player can take relief under Rule 16.1f.

3) Public Road between hole 1, 9 and 18
A ball coming to rest on or beyond the road between hole 1, 9 and 18 is out of bounds, even if it comes to rest on another part of the course that is in bounds for other holes. (A-3)

4) Dropping zone on hole 13 and 14

If a player´s ball is in the penalty area located beside green on hole 13 / in front of tee on hole 14, (including when it is known or virtually certain to be in that penalty area even though not found), the player has these relief options (each for one penalty stroke):

  • The player may take relief under Rule 17.1, or
  • As an extra option, the player may drop a ball in the dropping zone located between 13. and 14. Hole defined by a “DZ” sign. (the DZ may be closer to pin on the hole played)

Ball must be dropped within 2 club length from the sign, not nearer the hole in play.

5) Alternative to Stroke and Distance for Lost Ball or Ball Out of Bounds
When a player’s ball has not been found or is known or virtually certain to be out of bounds or identify which holes this applies to, the player may proceed under the Stroke and Distance Local Rule for a penalty of two strokes, rather than proceeding under stroke and distance.
